General Summary

The Manager of Pricing and Affiliates is a management role within the Sales team that is ultimately responsible for predicting future charter and Jet Card volume to drive pricing points, identifying trends in the industry in terms of pricing and capacity, establishing a dynamic pricing system for charter and Jet Card flights, managing affiliate relationships, and evaluating affiliate performance. This role requires excellent analytical skills, the ability to work well in a team environment, excellent presentation skills and a keen ability to work to a deadline while under pressure.

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales and operational data to establish historical baselines for charter pricing assumptions and use data to project charter volume, directionality and capacity
  • Act as the primary point of contact and own the relationships with our affliate partners
  • Partner with Corporate Safety to assist in the audit of affiliate partners for safety and compliance
  • Use data-driven analysis to evaluate the performance of our affiliate partners; establish and report on key metrics for affiliates
  • Assist the Aircraft Scheduling team in trip placement and sell-off when required; assist in the aircraft scheduling on-call schedule when required
  • Develop and implement a dynamic pricing system that is based on data to drive increased charter sales through peak day, day of week, time of day or other parameter pricing
  • Partner closely with the Manager of Revenue Management to analyze the aircraft schedule capacity and constraints, jointly establish sell-off volume requirements, and work together to set pricing parameters in the charter quoting system
  • Work with leadership on the pricing and other key terms of the Jet Card product during each revision cycle
  • Work with the Charter Sales Manager to develop a charter sales strategy that meets  established charter sales and gross margin goals set by the company
  • Assist in the development of promotional sales ideas and analyze charter sales promotions for pricing and margin viability
  • Understand the aircraft owner agreement terms and assist in evaluating new aircraft owner agreements for viability and profitability 
  • Demonstrate work schedule flexibility as needed to ensure adequate coverage and support operational needs
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by the Director of Revenue Management & Analysis, or higher authority.

 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • A bachelor's degree is required with a preference in business or aviation preferred
  • Excellent prioritization and coordination skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert analytical skills with a preference of work experience analyzing large or complex sets of data that may be incomplete or lack clarity
  • Creative problem resolution skills
  • The ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with internal and external customers
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to use all MS Office products with an advanced level in MS Excel including pivot tables and macros
  • Able to work a flexible schedule which could include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and a willingness to continually learn
